Debauve&Gallais – is a chocolate manufacturer in France, which was founded in 1800. Debauve&Gallais was the royal chocolate supplier of kings Louis XVI, Charles X and Louis Phillippe, therefore gathering an aristocratic clientele.
The reputation of this “maison du chocolat” as the French call it, is based on the concept of healthy chocolate, which includes products such as “Pistole de Marie-Antoinette” – dark chocolate coins with 99% cocoa, almond oil chocolate, three flavor orange and vanilla chocolate.
Among the delicacies offered by Debauve&Gallais are brandy truffles, nut and honey varieties, a wide selection of pralines presented in special 1800-style cases which are accompanied by golden greeting cards, and the delicious “Frivoles”. Prices range between $100 and $900
