Another country that is renowned for its chocolate is France. Its chocolate center is Tain L’Hermitage, situated around Lyon. This small town is home to the school of one of the most important chocolate manufacturers, Valrhona. In Valrhona Ecole du Grand Chocolat are schooled the best chocolatiers, pastry chefs and cooks.
Even more, those that come here and want to follow a three day course in order to learn how to make sophisticated deserts can attend the “How to make decadent desserts” class, which is for “amateurs only”.
Besides the school and the factory there is also a chocolate store named Valrhona, where one can buy sweets and chocolate based desserts.
